Remove header on posts

    Is it possible to remove the header (header and image) when linking directly to a post?

    I’m not sure I fully understand what you’re looking to do.

    Do you have a default header image set in Appearance > Customize > Header Image? Are you looking to remove that image for single post pages?

    Yes, ideally when linking to a single post the Logo and header image would be removed, and it would open directly onto the featured image of the post and content below.

    This can be done using some custom CSS (requires Custom Design upgrade), however, there is a significant number of styles that area applied to the header text and navigation when a header image is set.

    The easiest route would to not set a global custom header image. If you’re using a static front page for you’re Front page, you could set that pages featured image as a individual page header image. This would display the header image on the front page only.

    That said, the logo is pretty easy to remove and there are only a few styles associated with it as an implication of it being set. Below is the CSS to hide the site logo on single pages.
