Remove file name and camera specifications

    Hi,

    When you go to my “Blog” tab, if you click on an image from the galleries, it shows the file name and sometimes, on the right, camera specifications and the option to reblog. How can I remove this? It shows up on most of my images, but some don’t have the file name listed or the camera specifications on the right. I’d like to remove it for all images.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Rachel,

    There is an option under Settings > Media to display the image metadata when available. If you uncheck this it should remove the camera information. You can also disable the reblog and like buttons under the sharing settings (Seetins > sharing). Disable the option on posts and it should remove it. Alternatively, this can be hidden with CSS:

    .jp-carousel-buttons {
        display: none;
    }

    Thank you!

    Rebecca,

    Thank you for your reply! Per your direction, I was able to remove the metadata. However, the file name and option to comment is still showing when you click on the images. (Separate from the sharing buttons I added–Facebook and Instagram.)

    Thank you,
    Rachel

    Hi Rachel,

    The following CSS should hide the file name and commenting options on your images:

    .jp-carousel-info {
    display: none;
    }

    If this isn’t what you are referring to, can you link to an example on your site where I can see what you have in mind? :)

    Thanks!
