Remove "Continue reading" from thumbnails

    My website need to be in French, so I need to remove all english sentences from the website. I’d like to remove the “Continue reading” link from thumbnails on homepage. Can you give me the CSS code to add in order to do so, please?

    Hi there – it looks like this thread slipped through the cracks and was never answered by the developer – sorry about that.

    You can remove “Continue reading” on the homepage with this custom CSS:

    .home .more-link {
      display: none;

    The reason that text is being displayed in English – along with a few other strings – is because at the moment, 83% of The Writer’s text strings (such as “Read more”) have been translated into French.

    Translations go live when they are at least 85% complete, so it would be great to get The Writer over that threshold. It’s almost there!

    Just let me know here when you’re done and I will ask our team to have the translations verified by one of the French (France) validators and deployed (made live).
