Remove banner images from projects

    I’d like to remove banner images from all my projects, and leave them on all my pages. I’m using images with overlayed icons set as featured images for projects for the project thumbnails (for links from the homepage) but don’t want these to appear as banners on the projects once clicked on. Alternatively, is there a way to set the banner image separate from the thumbnail image for projects? This would do the trick too. Thanks!

    Try adding this custom CSS:

    .single-jetpack-portfolio header{
    background: none !important;
    }

    .single-jetpack-portfolio #main header.main {
    height: 200px;
    padding: 60px 0 40px !important;
    }

    .single-jetpack-portfolio #main header.main hr {
    display: none;
    }

    Thank you! That did the trick for removing the banner images from projects. Since it now displays a grey background behind the banner text, is it possible to replace this grey background with an image (other than the featured image set for the project) that can be consistent on all projects?

    You’re welcome.

    You could try something like this:

    .single-jetpack-portfolio header{
    background: url('your-image-url-goes-here');
    }

    I’m not able to make this second piece work, I’m using the URL for one of my site images but it sources the project’s featured image. Maybe I’m not getting it quite right, could you please show how it would look with this URL: https://sunpeakshealthcom.files.wordpress.com/2018/03/img_0623.jpg

    Thanks again for the assistance!

    You’re welcome.

    Give this a try:

    .single-jetpack-portfolio header{
    background: url('https://sunpeakshealthcom.files.wordpress.com/2018/03/img_0623.jpg') !important;
    background-size: cover !important;
    }

    You might need to make the header taller.
