Regarding demo and appearance

    Hello,

    My blog is cinelipsis.com

    What I’m trying to do is to set up a homepage that looks a little bit like the demo (yet not exactly). This is my case:

    I have several primary categories in my blog: movies, books, interviews, special articles, etc. I AM CATEGORIZING EACH POST.
    If you look at the demo, you can see two widgets in the homepage, now scratch the second widget. I wanna use type 1.

    I would like to add three main sections to my homepage:
    One that says “Newest posts in movies”
    The other “Newest posts in books”
    The other “Newest in specials”

    Is there any way to do this? I tried with the widgets and I couldn’t do it.

    Hi!

    Ye,s when you use the featured Posts widgets in the home widget areas, there are settings in the widget box to show posts from specific categories only.

    I saw that and tried it, but I need several widgets for several categories. And when I tried with one widget it shows me post after post (in the same my homepage is set up right now).

    I need several boxes. One for each category and with only 4 featured posts (for category in their respective box of course).

    And you can do that – we used several widgets, restricted to one category each and filled out the settings to show X number of posts.

    Right now I don;t see any widgets on your home page.
