Rearranging the home screen

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!

I have just made a new website with the Tortuga template and I only have two pages so far, the home page and the blog feed. I would like to set the blog feed as my home page because I prefer the tiles appearance but it seems impossible. Every time I try to do it, the home screen looks the way I want it but the blog feed page becomes empty. And after some time, the home page gets back to the previous mode, where it shows posts one after the other.

Also, since my page is in Greek, I would like to translate the words “Blog feed”.

Can I do anything to make these things work?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for using Tortuga.

WordPress only creates one blog page showing your latest posts.

You can go to Customize > Homepage Settings to choose if the latest posts (blog page) are displayed on the home page or a different static page. It is not possible to display the latest posts on both a home page and a second static page.

Please also see the documentation on about this.

By default, the theme shows all your static pages in the navigation menu. Since the page title is “Blog Feed” it shows up in the menu. You have to rename the page to translate it.

However, you can also create your own custom menu and then enter text for the menu links as you like. That also allows you to link to category pages, or any URL you like, not just static pages. You can learn more about creating custom menus on

Let me know if you have any further questions about that.
