MemberHi,
A few questions:
1) I have worked out how to put portfolio posts on my homepage, but I would like the portfolio title, date, tag, excerpt etc to appear on top of the featured image, exactly as per the demo.
Can you tell me what i have to do to achieve this.
2) Also is it possible to have the similar format on the actual blog page, that is with only similar above information to appearing on the featured image, which you click on that redirects to the blog post?
3) Lastly, I have my pages set as feature content for the slider. I am having trouble trying to set the about page as the first that appears on the slider. I believe there is an update post button or something?
Any help you can give on these would be much appreciated. I am sure they’re simple problems.
Thanks,
ColinThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Theme AuthorHi Colin,
Sorry for the delay. I was away from work.
1) Please create a home page and select
Full-width, no sidebar
as thePage Template
option fromPage Attribute
. Screenshot: https://cloudup.com/cm5Hoxri1dC.2) This would require too much customization, which is beyond our support scope. You have to hire us or a developer to do that customization. You need a business plan on WordPress.com as it requires a child theme upload.
3) Please update About Page with a newest published date than others. It’ll appear first on the slider. The slider shows content in reverse chronological order.
Cheers.
Not a problem, thanks for the response.
I have made changes for points 1 and 3.
However, I am not sure you understood exactly what I am after for point 1. In the demo https://creativeportfoliodemo.wordpress.com when you scroll over the images of either the 3×3 gallery of different post types (updates) or 2×3 portfolio gallery information like title and date appear on the image. I would like to do exactly this, but I can’t seem to find how to make that happen. This was a primary reason for choosing this theme.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me with this.
Cheers and hope you had a cracker of a holiday :-)
