problems with media in my blog

    Every time I include a photo in my blog post, the blog shows 2 copies of this photo on the actual blog website. When I am doing the draft and even on the blog site that I see when I’m logged into WordPress, I see only one copy of the picture. But all outside visitors to my blog see 2 copies.

    Help please!!

    The theme pulls a featured image by default, so when uploading the image, do not click the “insert into post” link. Just close the window.

    Thanks – is there an easy way then to remove the duplicate photos in my already published posts?

    You’d need to remove the images from the post content, which has to be done manually, one at a time.

    Just ror giggles, go to Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Content Archives and see if the box is checke dot show featured images.

    if it is, uncheck it.

    Some themes do this different ways, an I was thinking this theme may have done it automatically.
