Posts showing up in Dashboard, but not on blog

We have a blogpost every day and everything has been going great until our post on November 16th. Before I changed the number of views to 3 posts per page, two weeks of prior posts were gone. They all appear on the dashboard, though. Originally we had 10 posts per page and that worked great (the general settings). I have tried adjusting a few things, but nothing has worked. Also, when I tried to change the date to yesterday’s date of the last post, it eliminated the prior two weeks again.

    Thanks for your help!

The blog I need help with is pcsc180daysoflearning.wordpress.com.

More specifically, certain dates will not show up. For instance, I changed a date to November 13th and the November 14th post disappeared from the blog.

    Hi there,

Can you please try increasing the Blog pages show at most setting to display 10 or more posts.

Let us know if you hit any issues!

    Thanks for the reply!

We tried that. I’ve adjusted that number and 3 seems to be the only one that works. We did post yesterday and it wiped out 11/10-11/15. I then tried to put the number back to 10 and it wiped out 11/6-11/15.

    :/

    Hi again :)

Could you please explain what you see when you choose to display 10 or more posts? Does this option not save? Have you tried increasing this value?

    Thanks for your patience!

    Hello! :)

When I choose 10, it takes out an entire month of dates. It will show the last three dates then take out all of the dates before that (to the previous month). I have tried increasing and decreasing that number. The only number that keeps all of the dates is 3.

Thanks again for all of your help! :)

    Hi again,

This is odd. I’m going to forward this question to Andy, our developer. We’ll be sure to let you know what we discover.

    Hi again,

To clarify, can you please check that you have posts published on the dates you’ve mentioned?

Also, to see previously published posts on your posts page, you’ll want to click the Older Entries button in the bottom-right of your site.

    I hope this helps!

Yes, there are posts on the dates mentioned. And clicking ‘older entries’ is how I found that there was an issue. I have tried practically everything. :/

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Could you please provide us with direct links to the posts you’re referring to, so we can take a look and see what might be causing this problem?

To find a post’s direct link, please follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Posts → All Posts;
    2. Find your post and click View;
    3. Copy the link from your browser’s URL bar.

Thanks! Again, sorry for the inconvenience!

Here are the posts that are missing when I set the display number to 3.

    November 15th-http://pcsc180daysoflearning.wordpress.com/2012/11/15/speech-therapy/

    November 14th-http://pcsc180daysoflearning.wordpress.com/2012/11/14/who-is-the-tallest/

When it’s at 10, the posts that do not show are:

    November 14th, 15th along with November 12th-http://pcsc180daysoflearning.wordpress.com/2012/11/12/810/

Thanks for all of your help! :)

    Hi again :)

Thanks for sharing those links. To be honest, I’m not sure what could be causing this problem. I’m going to investigate further into this issue. If I can’t find a solution, I’ll ask one of the WordPress.com staff to take a look.

    Thanks for your patience!

Hi there. I’ve taken a look at your site and it appears to be functioning properly. I’d like to confirm with you that you’re aware of the different post navigation areas in Shelf: http://p-am.net/grabs/shelf-navigation.jpg. The top left and right arrows in your screen will horizontally scroll through posts, so if you’ve set your posts per page value to 10, then you will be able to horizontally scroll through 10 posts per page. You would then need to click on “Older Entries →” in order to view and scroll through the next set of 10 posts. Hope this clears things up for you; please let me know if you have any more questions.
