Posting articles to a page in main menu instead of category

    Does anyone know if I am able to post my posts/articles to a PAGE on the main navigation menu? The only reason is because I want to write a little summary about my cooking when someone clicks on “In the Kitchen”, followed by all the recipe posts. Is this possible?

    Also, is it possible to switch the social links on my sidebar to Icons?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Jennifer! So, it looks like you’ve already set up your Category Pages. Next, you’ll want to add a description to these categories:

    1. In your Dashboard, go to PostsCategories;
    2. Hover over your category, In the Kitchen, and click Edit;
    3. Add your summary to the Description field;
    4. Click Update.

    This summary will appear directly below the title ‘Posts from the ‘In the Kitchen’ category’.

    You cannot, unfortunately, use social icons in the sidebar without making extensive code changes.

    Ahh perfect! Got it :)

    Is it not possible to add an image to go along with the description??

    Hello Jennifer,

    Your blog is looking fabulous!

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible to customize the category pages to that extent. I’m sorry this isn’t the answer you were hoping for!

    Best of luck with your blog!
