Post format with and without sidebar?

Currently when I publish a post it goes in to the blog with the sidebar of widgets as well. Is it possible to create two post layouts – one with the sidebar and one without? For example, with my text blog pages (like this one: http://rachelgoble.com/2014/05/30/somaly-mam-and-storytelling-with-dignity/) I want the sidebar of widgets. But for my photography posts (like this one: http://rachelgoble.com/2012/05/19/becky-dan-wedding/) I don’t want the sidebar because it takes away from the visual of the images as well as distorts vertical pictures that I have set to have side by side.

    Please advise. Thank you!

The blog I need help with is rachelgoble.com.

There isn’t an easy way to do this as the sidebar will display on all single post pages. You may be able to hide the sidebar and make the content area bigger using some custom CSS, though, this may take a bit of work; requires custom design upgrade.

If interested, I can start you in the right direction by providing some CSS snippets.
