Possible to add parallax effect to theme background image/pattern?

    Hi again,

This might be a tall order, but we are hoping to enable parallax on the background pattern/image for the pages on our site. The theme has parallax enabled for the featured image on the home page so we were hoping that maybe some CSS magic could add the same effect to the page background :)?

The reason for asking this is that we have tried several plugins (CBparallax, Supaz Easy Background, Advanced WordPress Background, etc.) already without the desired effect we are looking for (there’s always a glitch that throws things off). If possible, we’d really appreciate the help!

    Thank you,

Just wanted to add that if the above fix is not possible, we wanted to see if it’s possible to fix an issue we are having with one of these parallax plugins we are using (CBParallax) as it seems to be conflicting with Collective theme background color.

The plugin works overall, but there is a glitch where when you switch from one page to another, there is a brief moment where the background color of the theme becomes visible before the background image set in CBparallax. For example, if the background color set in the Customization menu of the theme is bright pink, you’d see a streak of bright pink each time a new page is loading before the CBparallax image becomes visible.

Is there any way to force the CBparallax image to become visible immediately without the theme background color interfering?

    Thank you

Never mind, our team moved away from using a parallax background for the site content. We’re adding another (hopefully more straightforward) request in a minute.
