Portfolio Projects Problem

I’m a big fan of the Designer theme and it was working properly, until today…

My homepage continues to show a specified number of 8 items. However, clicking on any of these portfolio items now results in a display of “404/Page Not Found” message & no portfolio content is displayed?

And, if I click on the Portfolio menu item (in the sidebar), or on an added front page portfolio link, I also see the same “404/Page Not Found” message & no portfolio content is displayed?

    I haven’t changed anything.
I do have many portfolio projects added.
And, I still have “Project Archive Text” entered under Appearance > Customize > Theme Options.

Also, I’ve tested both Safari & Vivaldi browsers – same problem.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in. I’m going to ping the WP.com team to see if they can provide any insight as to why your portfolio items aren’t resolving.

Please head to Settings > Reading, and uncheck the “Enable” box next to “Portfolio Projects” and Save Changes. Then re-check the box and Save Changes again. Let me know if that does the trick.

Thanks for your quick help, Kathryn – the Setting > Writing suggestion that you offered worked just right ~ much appreciated :)
