    Hi there,

In my Play-blog sidebar, I have an Text/HTML widget called ‘My current fave (from those I Follow)’. This is a form of promotion of that artist’s work and sits there for around two weeks.

The current image — Fish emotions — came from the artist’s Society6 site, which does not provide HTML to embed, so I just copied the hyperlink for that particular image.

As you can see, the image is quite small. Is there a simple way to increase the size to fill the sidebar, without breaking the link to the image source? If so, how can I do that, please?

The blog I need help with is: janina1.me

    Hello!

Looks like you’ll need to upload or embed a larger image. The one you’re using is only 125px square.

Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi Melissa, Do you mean that a larger image will automatically scale to fit the sidebar?

    Hello again,

It’s easy to specify the height and width of an image in the <img> tag, but if you try to make a small image bigger, it will pixelate. So you’ll need to start with a larger image, yes.

Thanks, Melissa. I’ve uploaded a more appropriate image, and it works. :D
