Pictures in slider
-
Hi,
I can’t get any pictures showing in the slider. The slider seems to work. I’ve tried different sizes of the pictures, among 652 * 300 px. I have tried PNG-format and JPEG. But it won’t show.
(Second question: I just want to double check – kan I only hade posts in the slider, or pages too somehow?)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Update: By chance i found that a picture needs to be assigned in the bottom right hand corner of a post to be visible in the slider.
Anyhow, still:
1. can a page be assigned a slider?
2. The picture in the slider appears as medium picture in the top of the post. Does it have to do so? I would like to arrange the pictures in the post without interferance from the assigned picture in the slider. -
Hi there!
1. can a page be assigned a slider?
Unfortunately, no. Pages cannot be set to “sticky”, so they can’t be added to the Slider.
2. The picture in the slider appears as medium picture in the top of the post. Does it have to do so?
There aren’t any theme options to hide the featured image on the single post view. The only way to accomplish this would be by adding some custom CSS rules. If you have WordPress.com’s Custom Design upgrade, you can do this.
