    Whenever I try to put in a featured image for a post, it zooms into the middle of the image. Is my image just too big and I need to lock in the size of the photo or is this a setting that can be changed so that you can see the full picture.

    The blog I need help with is: theptexperts.com

    It looks like you’ve edited the featured image by cropping it within WordPress. You should choose the full size image.

    On this page, the featured image has the wrong height.

    https://theptexperts.com/about/

    It is setting a height of 3168px according to the src:

    When the actual image is only 1333px.

    As a test, go to the edit screen for that page and upload a new featured image fresh from your hard drive, not one that is already in your WordPress media library.

    I’ve just done this in the Swell demo on this test page, and the image is displaying correctly.

    I was able to export a smaller size picture to my desktop to use and it did help some. Is there a specific size to make a photo so that it fits perfectly in that space? It still zooms into the photo a little bit…

    The image is a full width background image. If you cropped and resized it to fit that area on your screen, it won’t fit perfectly on a different sized screen. Full width backgrounds scale proportionally to fill their container. Sometimes this means some of the sides are cropped or the bottom and top are cropped. To see what I mean, try grabbing and dragging the bottom right corner of your browser to resize.

    If you want to show more of the image, you can use this CSS to make the title area taller. You can adjust the values to fit your needs.

    article header.main.has-background h1{
    margin-top: 200px !important;
    }

    article header.main.has-background .meta{
    margin-bottom: 200px !important;
    }

    Great, thanks!

    Also, what font is the headers and main body for this theme?

    You’re welcome. The theme uses Open Sans for headers and body.
