Patch Theme Image Filter
I really love the tone of the images featured on the Patch theme. Can you tell me what image filter(s) were used to generate the look and feel of these images? Apologies if this was already answered in the forum but couldn’t find anything regarding this particular subject.
Also, just out of curiosity, this theme isn’t set to be discontinued anytime soon, is it? Asking because it took me a while to settle on my last theme and once I did, WP discontinued it. I would prefer not to invest time in customizing this site to my liking only to have it be discontinued soon.
The blog I need help with is thesocialintro.com.
The filters applied to the demo images are from the remarkable Laurent Nivalle photographer. At some point, he provided some LUTs (Photoshop) files that seem to be not available anymore: https://laurentnivalle.fr/FREE/LUT.zip
Alternatively, here are the same ones that I saved a while ago https://p2.f0.n0.cdn.getcloudapp.com/items/wbump5Pg/free-luts.zip?v=45ce35117c1a328b5eca9c31012d0a24
As for the development of the Patch theme, it’s our promise to maintain it as long as it is relevant and useful for our users. Even if it will be discontinued from WordPress.com, it will still be available on our website https://pixelgrade.com/themes/patch/
Thank you for the quick response and for providing me with the zip files.
Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with the [.cube] extension.
How do I open/view these files?
There are a few good tutorials on the internet on how to load the [.cube] files — here is one: https://filtergrade.com/use-3d-luts-photoshop/
Thanks, this was a big help!
