Paginated Blog

    Hi,

    I haven’t seen this question on any forum posts so I’m not sure if anyone has already asked this, but how can you change your blog from one that scrolls down forever to one that is paginated? I should also say that I’m very new to blogging and have very little experience with coding, CSS, etc.

    I also can’t seem to be able to get the picture I upload to take the circular form of other Kiore Moana blogs.

    Lastly, I can’t seem to find where it is that I can upload a static photo to my blog’s homepage.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi Stessy,

    You can change the settings for the scrolling under Settings / Reading / “To infinity and beyond” to a “Older Posts” button instead of the automatic scrolling feature.

    For your header/logo image you can either just upload a transparent PNG image and cut out the circle in Photoshop before (I actually just did that in the Kiore Moana live demo).

    Or you would need to purchase the Custom Design upgrade for your blog and use the following CSS:

    #site-title a.logo img {
    max-width: 115px;
    -webkit-border-radius: 100px;
    -moz-border-radius: 100px;
    border-radius: 100px;
    }

    Regarding a static photo/header image: The Kiore Moana theme does not offer a custom header image like other themes. But instead you can use big featured post images for standard posts, like I did in the Kiore Moana live demo. So the first image in the live demo is the featured image of the first post (the featured post images can have a max. width of 1900px).

    Best, Ellen
