Pages instead of posts

    I am wondering if there is any way to use the slider and front page image options for pages instead of posts. Posts are very inconvenient with their long urls and I don’t need my pages to be dated like posts are. But I would like to be able to display my content using the visual aspects of this theme.

    Hi there – I’m afraid that pages can’t be displayed in the same way as posts. They don’t have tag archives/ category archives like posts do, and they can’t be listed in grids like posts can.

    Sorry – I’d like to be able to help but I can’t think of a way around it unfortunately.

    The only thing I can think of that may help is using shortcodes to display lists of pages with thumbnails. It’s not quite the same as the blog posts but it might be a bit nicer.

    Display Posts Shortcode

    An example to list all pages would be:

    [display-posts post_type="page" posts_per_page="100" image_size="thumbnail"]
