    Hi there,

    I love the look of Paulie but don’t love how wide the page design is. Is there any way to “shrink” the area where blog posts appear so that there is more negative space on either side?

    Thanks,
    Jenny

    The blog I need help with is plum-blog.com.

    Hello Jenny,
    Thank you for writing and using Paulie.

    Yes, you can add the following CSS: (for example to have 25% margin left, your content with 50% and another 25% of margin right)

    #primary {
        width: 50%;
        margin-left: 25%;
        margin-right: 25%;
    }

    Here you have the instruction about adding CSS:

    Hope this helps
    Thank you again!

    Hi Ricardo,

    Thanks so much for the help. This does work, however it makes my sidebar disappear. Is there any way I could shrink the width but keep the sidebar?

    Thanks,
    Jenny

    No problem,

    if you want to keep your sidebar, then add this instead:

    #primary #main {
        max-width: 90%;
        margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Now you only have to edit the “90%” value. The content will center automatically keeping the sidebar.

    Let us know.
    Thank you again!
