I’ve set up the home page with featured content based on pages. However the order of the three images doesn’t seem to be based on date – the later ones appear at left not right. How can I change the order?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
correction to above. the blog is fireandsacrifice.com
The content on the homepage uses WordPress.com’s featured content functionality. The content should be displayed by publish date with the newest one showing first.
On the fireandsacrifice.com site, I see to featured content block items, “Learn the language of mystery”, and “Books”. Is this the desired order and if not, what are the published dates for each of those pages?
Thanks Luke. They seem to be ordering right to left by date, not left to right as indicated in the sample. Am trying a take down, republish to see if things move.
That is strange. I know the WordPress.com Featured Content functionaltity can be a bit tricky to figure out because the order is based on dates from tagged posts or pages. If nothing else, you might try changing the dates around to see if that fixes the ordering, though they should display with the newest date as the left most item.
I’ve used this theme on a number of other sites and haven’t ran into this issue, but if it persists, I’ll see look into it a bitter deeper and see if I can replicate what is happening.
