Hi, cheers for the great theme! :)
I’m trying to order a bunch of videos on a video archive page (and will add new ones progressively over the months that I’d like to show at the top of the list), but using the ‘Order’ value in the Page Attributes will only correctly order them in my dashboard’s list of pages, but not on the video page itself (where they still list in the order they are uploaded, with newest put down the bottom).
Is there a way to specify that newly added videos should be listed first on the Video archive page?
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll take a look at this and see what we can do. In the past, the WP Admin was used to add/update/order pages. Since, then, the new WP.com Dashboard has been introduced and it doesn’t appear to be working the same.
Hi @oddvoiceovers!
An update has been made to Promenade that will allow you to set how you’d like Grid Page, Record Archive, and Video Archive page template content to be ordered.
You can globally change how these templates are ordered by going to the Customizer > Theme Options. Here you’ll see new theme options for each of those templates to order the content by 1) Menu Order 2) Date, or 3) Title.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Legend! Works a treat :D Thanks heaps – saved me a bucket load of time :)
Excellent, good to hear!
