  I’m using this theme on my 2 blogs. I’m trying to create a songs blog where YouTube links are inserted in the post. The individual post looks fine but in preview of this theme I don’t see a thumbnail image in homepage/archive view. My posts are in ‘video’ format.

  Does this theme not create a thumbnail featured image for inserted video?

  No it doesn’t, you’ll have to add featured image to the post.
