Nesting pages feature broken on custom menu
-
I’m using a custom menu with nested pages. They were working fine previously. However, I made a change to one today, and then tried to re-nest them. It did not work. I tried to create new nested pages, this didn’t work either. I tried many possible fixes from removing the pages from the custom menu and re-adding them, to re-assigning the pages to the parent page, to deleting a page altogether. None of this works. Once I move my sub-menu page to the right and hit save, the screen returns with the sub-menu page automatically moved back to the left, in alignment with the rest of the pages. Please help! I cannot publish my site until this is fixed. Thank you.

FYI, coincidentally or not, this feature broke after I tried to create a third-level navigation for the pages in question. I saw it did not work (I know see the theme only supports two-level navigation), so I tried to restore my previous menu. This is when the problem started. Thanks.

Hey there,
You’re right that the theme does not support 3-level nesting, but this shouldn’t be causing your problem – that limitation only exists on the actual display of the menu items, and not on the admin panel/backend.
I’ve seen problems using the menu screen in the past – the first thing I would recommend is trying a different browser – try Chrome, Safari or FireFox especially if you’re currently using Internet Explorer, and see if the menus work when you adjust/save them.
Let me know if that doesn’t do it.

I was using Explorer, but switched to Firefox as you suggested, and now it works. Thanks so much!
