MemberHello there!
How can I keep the sidebar when I open a post?
I already have programed the sidebar to stay on the blog main page, but when I open them on the “Read More” button then the sidebar disappears.
Can you help me on this topic? Please!
This the link where I have the problem:

Theme AuthorHi Isabel, the layout of the single posts depends on which post format you choose. You need to choose the Standard or Image format to display the sidebar.
Hi again JLeuze,
I’ve tried both format and it doesn’t change at all. It seems to be the same and still no sidebar in any of these two formats.
What more can I do?

Theme AuthorThat’s very strange, the standard post format template should look like this:
https://albumdemo.wordpress.com/2014/06/20/back-in-the-ny-groove/?demoAre you using any kind of custom CSS on the theme, or using any plugins, or have any custom gallery options setup?
Do you have widgets in your sidebar?
Hello JLeuze:
I’m not using CSS and I have one widget in the sidebar.
When you say “custom gallery options setup”, what do you mean?
I think I’ll contact the support team, but anyway, thank you very much for your help.
Isabel.
Hello JLeuze:
I contacted the support team and finally the problem is solved.
I share what they said in case it is useful to someone else:
First, you will want to go to your customizer by clicking on Customize. Then go to Theme > Homepage. For the dropdown under Shows Category select ‘Category’. Then click Publish when you’re done. That’s it!
Thank you very much for your time.
