Moved Site – Trying to Move Theme

    Hi,

    I recently moved my wordpress.com to a new server using wordpress.org as the framework. It’s the same site, same content etc. and I was able to export most information via an xml document. I wish to upload the Debut theme from my wordpress.com hosting to my site danielshainmedia.com now hosted on another server, but it tries to charge me again. I have proof of purchase via email, so, is there a way I could download this theme so I could keep using it in my sites new location without having to pay again?

    sorry, I don’t need help with the blog I listed, it would have to do with danielshainmedia.com. Clicked wrong blog/site by accident.

    Are you trying to move your WP.com site to a self-hosted version? If so, there isn’t currently a self-hosted version of the Debut theme; Debut is a WP.com specific theme. WP.com does not allow premium themes to be downloaded. If you’d like more information on this, feel free to send us an email.

    If you’re creating a new site on WP.com, you would need to purchase the Debut again for that site. You may be able to contact WP.com to see if they can transfer they purchase, but I don’t think things work that way.
