Add topic to favorites
I just dropped some cash to have a designer create a logo for my blog. Then I discovered it doesn’t show up in the mobile version. Can you please fix that?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this problem. The mobile themes are a WordPress.com function rather than a theme function, but I’m not seeing a mobile theme enabled. Did you turn it off?

Yes, and the WordPress guy told me the following:

Daniel – WordPress.com Interesting. It seems like the header image is being stripped out and the text only remains. I am just checking whether it’s possible to display it – just a few moments.

Daniel – WordPress.com If you enable the mobile option, then this layout would remove the logo image so that the mobile theme options can be applied. You cannot carry over the logo for the mobile display at the same time from what I can see.

I’m sorry for the confusion. Unfortunately, Linen is not a responsive theme, so unless you opt to enable the WordPress.com mobile theme, it will display as-is on mobile devices.

If you have the Custom Design upgrade WordPress will allow you to make some custom changes to the mobile theme via CSS though, in which case the CSS Customization forum would be the best place to get support.

Bummer. Linen is such a nice theme. It seems like a basic thing that ought to be available for the use of a mobile version of a website.
