MemberHi,
I have just changed to the Axon theme and working my way through the site to check things and make certain tweeks to get things looking right. My first query is – on a desktop, the page on the menu are linking fine, but when viewed on a mobile the pages which have child pages beneath them do not link to any page, it just opens the drop down navigation. How do I get the parent page to link?
Many thanks
GailThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
Hi,
I have looked a bit more into this as this issue is holding me up from progressing with Axon, or unfortunately ditching it for something else.I can see when looking at your demo on a mobile phone that the titles/words in the navigation bar that have child pages, do not link anywhere [how do you make the parent page have zero content and just open a drop down?]
Also, this means that although the theme allows grandchild pages, there is no point to this as this will mean that the child pages will not work on a mobile.
Can you let me know as soon as possible on the above as I am desperate to get on now that I have spent ages choosing Axon, but this feature is puzzling me.
Many thanks

Theme AuthorHello Gail,
I have just noticed this point as well. I have assigned a very high priority task to our development team to update the menu settings. The Parent element should be clickable if user has configured it.
Please give me 24 hours to fix this issue. I will update this thread, as the updates are pushed to live.
Thanks
Hi – many thanks.
Does this mean that the parent element will be clickable on a mobile as well, or just on desktop? I just need to know so I can do some work on it over the next 24 hours.

Theme AuthorHi Gail,
Parent element should be clickable on all devices including mobiles, tablets etc
Update: It is already clickable on Desktops because this issue is related to Responsive menu only.
Thanks

Changes are deployed.
Please check your menu now.Thanks
Hi,
The linking is working fine, but we have a problem with the appearance of the top navigation on a mobile. When click on the 3 bars to show the navigation, the navigation shows on a dark grey background with a mix of black text and white text. I do have a screenshot if you need it, but cannot attach to this ticket.
Can this be looked into please as something must be wrong.
Thanks

Theme AuthorHi Gail,
Please use the following CSS code snippet,/* Mobile Menu */ .slicknav-nav a, .slicknav-nav a:visited { color: #fff; }
Thanks
Many thanks – that is working fine now.
