    Hello,

    I would like to change the color of menu links and widget links in the main sidebar from white to #0c0c0c.

    Thanks,
    Esther

    You can do this with a bit of CSS; requires the Custom Design upgrade. I’ve provided a small CSS snippet below to get you started.

    .site-header .menu a {
      color: #0c0c0c;
    }

    Thank you.

    I am also having a challenge finding where the styling for the Links Widgets come from. Right now the links are gray, but when you hover over them, they turn white, which is the same color as the background. I would like them to stay the same color.

    The second thing is when I have a main menu item open, that item turns white in the menu, which is also the same color as the background.

    Is it possible to turn off the color change for these two items (or all items)?

    It sounds like the custom color settings may need some tweaking. For now, I’ve provided a some CSS snippets that should get you pointed in the right direction.

    .site-header a:hover,
    .site-header a:focus,
    .site-header .is-open button {
      color: inherit;
    }

    I’ll see if someone can look into and improve the custom colors, however, once you start customizing things outside of the color controls WP.com provides, some additional CSS will likely need to be added; it’s tough to account for all color combinations.
