Making space for header before the callout box on homepage

    Hello!

    I want to have randomised header image showing on my site. When I switch to this I do not want to have a logo displayed and won’t need the header text as this information will be included in the header images. However, if I remove the logo and the header text the callout box moves up on the homepage and covers the header images.

    Is there a way to ensure the callout box remains underneath the header image or to randomise the logo? (I feel that the first is more achievable?)

    Background image seems a little bit too small. But try this CSS.

    a.mina-olen-callout-button {
   margin-top: 145px;
}

    Change 145px for a number you feel is right.

    Hi, sorry! Yes that worked perfectly :)

    I’m going to move my website from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. Will the CSS that you’ve kindly given me for my various requests still work if I migrate my site?

    If you continue to use Mina Olen theme, then yes. You can get .org version here.

    Fantastic! Definitely going to keep using this theme – have got a lot of compliments on my website since I installed it :)

    Note that there are couple of important differences when you switch to .org.

    – Custom fonts is service provided WordPress.com, it’s not part of theme in anyway. I noticed you have changed fonts.

    – I’m not sure how you have changed colors in theme but that could be also WordPress.com feature. If you’re using Custom CSS there are similar Plugins for .org site.

    – Lot’s of .com features are also in a Plugin called Jetpack.

    – Always use a child theme of Mina Olen when doing modifications in .org version. You can get blank child theme when purchasing Mina Olen in my site.
