    How do I remove the ‘share’ and ‘comments’ under every post from the Main Magazine Page but keep on individual posts?

    The blog I need help with is simplydelite.org.

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much for using Dynamic News.

    I’m not sure what you mean. Do you still need help with that?

    Cheers,
    Thomas

    Thank you for quick reply. Sorry if confusing.
    That first bit I sorted out. However, I find that on the ‘magazine’ front page, the set up is not as good as yours although I kept the image size to what you said 880 x 290, and 890 x 280. There doesn’t seem to look like a ‘break’ between the items and I wonder if I could make more of a ‘box’, or somehow show they are separated posts better? Also if I click ‘Campaigns’ from main menu, unlike ‘Recent News’ from main menu, it doesn’t show the items under that category?and I can’t get rid of ‘Featured’ Recent News’ appearing at bottom within those other pages. Also images to your size don’t look good on Facebook or Twitter and I am unable to get a link to Parler and also a Follow Us (click to follow the web site).
    Thank you

    Hi again,

    Sorry for my late reply here.

    You have to link to the actual category page in your custom menu: https://simplydelite.org/category/campaigns/

    Right now the menu item points to a static page with no content. You can delete it. WordPress does automatically create category, tags and archive pages for you (see the link above).

    The missing break between posts is caused by your images, which are mostly white and have no clear contrast. Therefore it looks better on our demo. You can add some box shadow with CSS to your featured images, or use different ones. Here is the CSS snippet:

    .widget-category-posts .type-post .wp-post-image {
        box-shadow: 0 0 5px #bbb;
    }

    In case you want to change the defined image sizes you can use the Simple Image Sizes plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

    When you turn of image cropping and set a height of 9999px, you will achieve a flexible height. I do not recommend it, since the posts in the grid layout will have not the same height, so I would stick with Image cropping and a fixed image size.

    Hope that helps.

    Best,
    Thomas
