Is there a way to “link” my Linkedin PROFILE to the blog?
At this time the Linkedin button directs the user to the signup page of linked in.
If I am working in Linkedin, my account is open the Linkedin button on the blog is clicked, the security of the Linkedin account has been removed and anyone can access my account.
I have tried to change it in many different ways, including on mobile apps. I am using custom design – that might be where the glitch is.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
There’s no security issue, only you can see your account as the logged in owner of it, other people that are logged in will not have access to your account.
However, it does sound like the way the social icon works needs looking into. Forwarding to development.
Sorry for the wait, just wanted to let you know that development is aware of the issue and it’s on their list of things to go over.
The information I got back was that this is neither a WP.com issue or theme issue, but an issue with your LinkedIn settings.
Please double-check that your LinkedIn profile is publicly reachable. For example, you can see my profile publicly (without being logged in) here:
