Hi – wondering if there’s a way to not include the date on a blog post link. For example instead of:

    https://iamvan.life/2017/07/25/the-joy-of-opening-to-lifes-lessons/#more-171

    just this(removing /2017/07/25) >

    https://iamvan.life/the-joy-of-opening-to-lifes-lessons/#more-171

and keep that format on all of the future posts?

The blog I need help with is iamvan.life.

    Hi imprincessvan!

    Thanks for writing.

The permalink for posts is not able to be edited in this way. You can edit the ending text, but the date will remain. A work around would be to use a page permalink rather than a post one. Pages do not include the date the same way as a post.

Another option is to change the permalink structure for a WordPress.com site you need to have the Business Plan and have plugins installed on your site. It is not possible to change the permalink structure on any other plan.

    Hope this helps!
