link custom header back to home via a widget text

    I tried to use the text widget to link back to front page but the link to my front page is the name of my site so it does not work. Can you tell me how to do this? I really appreciate it. Because I have a custom header and you have no Editor style sheet, I am finding this difficult to figure out.
