Lens theme start up – template for slotting in images on home page

Very new to this and to the Lens theme. I want my website to look as much as possible like the advertised web page that WordPress used to promote the Lens theme – ie. a block of boxed images, but I don’t want to have to do that freeform, rather to have a template just to slot the photos and text in. Am I missing something?

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is timcoopercopywriter.com.

Hi there – thanks for the message.

Could I clarify what you are looking for? I understand that you want your website to look like the demo site, but what would you like from me?

Looking at your site as it stands – I can see that you have a couple of blog posts, and a header image, and your site is using a custom front page.

To look (exactly) like the demo site you will need to:

    • Switch the custom front page to show blog posts on front
    • Add more blog posts
    • Remove the header image

If you are looking for the blog content, that you can then change to match your own content, you can download the theme demo content from here:
    https://prothemedesign.com/assets/demo-xml/lens.wordpress.xml

There’s instructions for importing content here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

If I misunderstood what you’re trying to do then let me know and I’ll do what I can to help.
