issue with portfolio pages

    I am having an issue with the Connect theme on the portfolio project pages. I am not using an image at the top, so I end up with hyperlinks appearing in the middle of the text. I would like those to go at the bottom of the page.

    Here’s a sample of the issue

    Here’s the CSS I tried to use to fix the problem. I only managed to get rid of the hyperlink and push non-operating arrows to the bottom of the page. I’ve taken out the CSS adjustment so that you can see what the original problem in the first place.

    .portfolio-nav .previous-post a {
    display: none;
    }

    .portfolio-nav .next-post a {
    display: none;
    }

    The blog I need help with is annamlorch.com.

    Hello,

    Have you added any CSS to the portfolio navigation selectors elsewhere? There is a ‘position absolute’ on the .portfolio-nav a selector which is causing the issue. If you change this to ‘relative’ it should solve the issue or add the following CSS:

    .portfolio-nav a {
        position: relative;
    }

    Thank you,

    Rebecca

    Hi Rebecca,

    I haven’t made any other modifications to the CSS. If I just use the one you included above, will that do the trick?

    Best,
    Anna

    Hi Anna,

    It should work if you add the CSS I provided. Let me know if it doesn’t.

    Thank you,

    Rebecca

    Is it possible to change the shape of the grey circle – the name of the sections don’t quite fit in it. It looks a bit odd still.

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

    You can change the grey circle by adding the following CSS:

    .portfolio-nav a {
        background: none;
        border-radius: 0%;
    }

    This will remove the background circle shape completely. I’m not sure why it is displaying as it is not present in the demo. You can play around with this by adding a background color and changing the border-radius (which now stands at 50%).

    Thank you,

    Rebecca

    Hmmm…. What if I just want to remove it completely including the arrows that show up? I figured out how to remove everything but the arrows.

    Hello,

    You can certainly remove it completely if you don’t want it to display at all. You would simply add the following CSS:

    .post-navigation {
        display: none;
    }

    Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you!

    Rebecca
