    Dear Emily, Dear staff

    We are inches away of going public, but after many woes trying myself at CSS editing, I have to ask you once again to enlighten me about a few little issues. It’s mainly about colors.

    As you might see, we are not using a default color for our text content area background, but some other whitish tone (#fffcf5)

    Still, after much trial and error, I just can’t seem to find the right container/element name for turning the comments & post data (category) section into
    https://drydockdreams.games/2019/10/08/hello-world/#comments

    Same problem on the main page with the featured post area (cf World ahoy!)
    https://drydockdreams.games/

    Would you please be so kind as to tell me which elements I should target in order to bring some #fffcf5 civilization to the whole place and finish the paintjob? As usual, big thanks in advance for your time and your knowledge regarding this matter!

    Take care,

    Alain

    The blog I need help with is: drydockdreams.games

    Hi Alain, the site is looking great! I think what you’re looking for is:

    .post-author {
      color: #fffcf5;
    }

    Let me know if you need anything else. Thank! :)

    Hello Emily,

    Thank you for the kind words! But we wouldn’t be there without the help of this great theme – and your own great assistance, of course ;)

    Well, about that, it wasn’t really this problem actually ^^ but what you posted was enough to help me deduct what I needed to write down to get what I wanted. Thank you for that!

    Regarding the latter part of my problem, this is an illustration of the problem I have

    https://drydockdreams.files.wordpress.com/2019/10/wechat-image_20191012025508.png

    As you will see, I am trying to get rid of the areas which are still grey, and paint them in the color of the rest. Do you know which containers are guilty in this case?

    And then, we’ll definitely be good to go ^^

    Big thanks in advance,

    Alain

    I see, thank you for explaining. Can you please tell me on which pages I can view these gray areas? I clicked around a bit on your site and couldn’t find one, so not sure if you’ve already figured it out or not. If not, please give me the link to at least one page where I can see the issue still persisting.

    No problem! It is actually just the blog post page. Everything else is in the right color.

    As a user you might not see the comment part if you don’t click on “leave a comment” first, but I suppose that the category footer is there at any rate.

    Thanks again Emily!

    Thanks again. It may take a bit of trial and error to get all the boxes colored, so let me know if there’s still more needed after this and where I can see it. Add this:

    .post-meta {
      background-color: #fffcf5;
    }
    #comments {
        background: #fffcf5;
    }

    Hopefully that does the trick, let me know otherwise..
