Improve Slideshow Tab Visibility
-
Hi there, I was just wondering if there is a way to make the slideshow directional tabs more visible? Change the colour so they pop out at the viewer?
I am referring to the arrows on the slideshow page that allow you to move left or right.
The reason I ask is because I want to make those arrows more visible so that viewers know it is a function. I ask my friends for their opinion on my page, and none of them saw the arrows, so they didn’t know it was a function. Here is a link to my website. The slideshow page is my homepage. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
You can change the color of the arrows on the slideshow page by adding the following CSS to the Custom Design or Custom CSS add-on:
.flex-direction-nav .flex-next i, .flex-direction-nav .flex-prev i { color: #FFF .flex-direction-nav li a { background: #FFF; }
You can edit this with the color hex codes of your choice. The color one is for the arrow itself, the background is well, for the background. :)
Let me know if you run into any issues.
Thanks,
Rebecca

Not sure on how to do this. I copy and pasted the code into the CSS box, and put in the hex codes to change the colour, but nothing changes after I save it.

Hi,
Can you add me as an admin user to your site so I can make sure it was done properly? You can send an invite to my username ‘rezzap’.
Thank you,
Rebecca

Hello,
I will need to be made an admin user so I can view the actual back end of the site. Please change my user and let me know when this has been done.
Thank you,
Rebecca

Hi,
No problem, thanks for changing it. I went in and fixed the code. I had forgotten a semi-colon so it wasn’t displaying right. The code should be in affect now.
Cheers!
