Images with Links

I really like the simplicity of the ‘finder’ theme, but I’m wondering if there’s a way to make a couple edits to the design. I’d love to be able to have images (of folders) on the blank borders of the theme that are links (i.e. to social media). Also, if there were a way to make the theme not change its appearance based on the screen size, and always look how it does on a desktop view, I’d like to change that.
If you have suggestions for any of these potential edits, please let me know!

As it happens, neither disabiling the mobile view or swapping out those social links for other links can be done without making a few code changes. If you’re really into Finder, you might want to consider switching over to the WordPress.org self-hosted version of the theme where we can help you edit the code better than here.
