Hello! I recently purchased the theme, and have started to add images to portfolios. However, the images don’t actually appear in the portfolio. Instead, a grey or white square appears, and if I mouse over it, the title of the image becomes visible. Clicking on the blank space takes me to that image, but instead of showing the image at the top and the rest of the gallery below, I see the image twice: once quite large, and again smaller below.
What am I doing incorrectly? I can’t find any instructions for portfolios other than to set the page to the portfolio template and then make a new post, choosing that portfolio as the location for the post. I’ve done both of those things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only other step in portfolio item creation would be to add a featured image to the post, but it looks as though you’ve included this as well. I’ll send this information on to our developers, and will let you know when I have some more information on this issue.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
I hadn’t clicked on “Featured” image for the post. I’ve now done that, which causes the image to show up in the portfolio instead of a white square. However, I’m still seeing each image twice in the post (one at full size or close to it, and one at 60% size which I’ve set it to be displayed at) with the rest of the portfolio below. Any ideas about why I’m seeing the image twice?
Ah — perfect!
It sounds to me like you’ve uploaded an image into the post content area as well as having set a featured image. The featured image will appear at the top of your post, as well as in the post thumbnail, so you do not need to upload the image into the post content area as well.
That solves it. Thanks!
