    Hi Taras

Is there a webpage which shows all the recommended dimensions of images to use on the Prosperity theme?

If not, is it possible you could let me know the recommended dimensions of:
    * featured images for the front page slider
    * full width images (something similar to a featured image) that will span the full width of the page
    * images for the ‘media and text’ block
    * images for the ‘column’ block:
    – 2 column – square size where the image would take up the full width of column
    – 3 column – square size where the image would take up the full width of column

    Many thanks for your help!

    Hello,

“featured images for the front page slider”
    – There is a set maximum width for the image added to this section. It’s 2560px. If you upload the image which has a width of more than 2560px then WordPress will automatically crop the image.

For instance, I often use images with size of 1920x1280px in the Featured Content on a demo site.

“full width images (something similar to a featured image) that will span the full width of the page”
    – If you are referring to images added to the content area via the Image block then you can upload images that best fit your need. The thing is that this block allows to display an image with original sizes.

“images for the ‘media and text’ block”
    – You can upload any image size you want. This block provides several image options, including an original image size: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/media-text-block/#block-settings

The same thing applies to the Columns block. However, in order to display an image in the Columns block, you need to use the Image block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind regards,
    Taras
