Trying to create a portfolio style page to show all projects in thumbnail form, to be clicked and linked to a full project page. Experiencing issues with layout (preferably 5 or 6 images across the page) and when using the “caption” function, the box it displays in is rather “tall”.
Is there a way to alter the appearance of this caption box? OR an easier way to format the pictures with their relevant titles that will translate to mobile/tablet use?
    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: shellhosk.wordpress.com

    Hi,

Can you link to one of the images in question?

    Thanks!

This is the page we are trying to format. Ideally we will have 6 images horizontally with a label under each one, which can then be linked to another page. By simply putting a “caption” under the image, the box is rather large and unsightly.

    Thanks!

    Hi again,
We have resorted to putting all images into a custom table using css, though we are struggling slightly to make all tables 5 cells across.
Any chance you could help with this?
Also, would this table layout translate to use on a mobile/tablet?
    Thanks.

    Hi,

You can re-size your browser window to see what you should expect on mobile devices. The page right now looks good, so you really just need to play around with the CSS if there are any adjustments you’d like to make.

    Thanks!
