    Hi there,

    I’m trying to invert the hover effect on entries. The standard is from light to dark.

    I would like it to go from dark to light.

    I get 90% there with this

    article .entry-content a.thumb img {
        opacity: 0.7 ;
    }

    article .entry-content a.thumb img:hover {
        opacity: 1;
        -o-transition: .25s;
        -ms-transition: .25s;
        -moz-transition: .25s;
        -webkit-transition: .25s;
    }

    The problem is when you mouse over the entry titles, the thumbnail will revert back to it’s darker color until you mouse over the central part of the thumbnail. (is this a alpha/margins/padding issue?)

    Is there a way to keep the text when you hover over the entry but still show the transition?

    Also i would love to know when you hover over an entry for the text to fade-in just like i have set the thumbnails.

    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is abvfx.wordpress.com.

    Hi abvfx,

    I am sorry this was missed earlier. Do you still need help with this? I saw your website is no longer using Gridspace so just confirming. If its a different web address, please do post the link.

    Awesome renders btw, I was a into 3D modeling few years ago and love how you can create something out of nothing. :)

    Thanks,
    Chandra

    No worries, thanks for the comments.

    I have two blogs on this account, the other one isn’t live to the world. :) abvfx.me

    I did get it working, in a sense. Screenshot

    I positioned the title near the bottom of the thumbnail.

    One so it doesn’t obscure the the top, which usually is the more visually interesting part of the picture.

    And two so that when the mouse hovers over the title text it dims the thumbnail down again so i want to make sure it wasn’t going to be in the way. If i hide the title then whenever the mouse is over any part of the thumbnail it will always be bright, so its a compromise.

    If there is a better way i would love to know.

    1. The only thing i can’t figure out how to make the title fade-in when the mouse hovers just like the brightness fades-in.

    2. And is there any way to hide the “permalink to” popup?
