Icons resize not correctly (too big!)

    Hello there!

I thought the icons are meant to be shown in 150x150px, no matter how big the files are?

“Larger images will be resized down to 150 x 150px.”

I played around with icons to see what happens, for example this one is 412x412px and refuses to resize correctly, instead shows up with a stubborn and too big to look good 250x250px :(

Another example is here, where the icon of 860x300px resizes to 250x90px – huh?

Would be very nice if someone’d check what’s wrong here, I’d really love to use icons – just not if I have to resize them manually to measly 150x150px. Measly because that’s the size they’ll show up in the dashboard stream, and there it’s too small :(

The blog I need help with is mongolom.wordpress.de.

    Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WooThemes support. I’m happy to help you with this.

    These sizes are set here:

WP Dashboard -> Settings -> Media

What are your image sizes there?

    Kind Regards,
    Scott

Hi Scott, it seems there’s the problem, my size for miniature images is 250x500px. Or better, was. Now it’s 150x150px. Bingo.

Thanks for pointing out what I was missing :)

    Cheers!
    Loretta
