    Wondering why HTML code is suppressed by this theme and if there’s a workaround – ie: when I add HTML code for buttons (like Paypal and Patreon) it won’t turn into just a plain link? Thanks!

    Hi there – thanks for the message.

    The theme does not suppress anything. This is the standard behaviour for WordPress and will happen with any theme.

    The problem is that html can introduce security problems and so is restricted to certain tags. I don’t know what html you are trying to insert but that’s what I imagine is happening here.

    WordPress.com has a tutorial for adding a link to a paypal payment page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

    There is no tutorial for Patreon but the process would be the same. Get the image link, and link to the page.
