Theme AuthorHi.
There is two ways of translating.
1. Here is tutorial how to do it from dashboard.
http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2014/05/06/translate-wordpresscom/
2. You can go directly to GlotPress and click on your language on the left and translate strings from there.

Hi thanks a lot for your help.
For #1, I don’t have the “Translate WordPress.com” in my admin
and for #2, I don’t understand how to add the translation for the excerpt “Read more”
Thanks for your explanation.
Annie
Euh… The “Translate WordPress.com” just appear :-)

Nice. Let me knows how it goes. I have never used that tool myself.
I don’t think that your translations go “live” right away, it might take couple of days.

Theme AuthorWere you able to translate Read more?
No

Theme AuthorIt seems that your translations are waiting for approval. I ping WordPress.com stuff to handle it.
Thank you very much for your help :-)

StaffBonjour Annie, do you prefer the France French translation (55% translated for Mina Olen) or the Canadian French translation (65%)? You can select Canadian French under Settings > General.
The translation rates are extremely close for WordPress.com in general – i.e. things like dates and other strings that are not in the theme itself.
French (France) 89%
French (Canada) 88%Some terminology will be a bit different between the two locales – it’s up to you which you prefer but since you’re in Quebec I thought I’d mention it.
Let me know which you prefer and I’ll see about getting the translations deployed. Thanks!
Hi, I prefer the Canadian French translation.
Thanks a lot for your help!

StaffThe Canadian French translation for Mina Olen has been deployed and is now live. Voilà!
If you see any missing translations, you can add them here in GlotPress:

Is it in the design that both Lire and Suite have a capital letter? Normaly we writhe it like that … « Lire la suite » ?

StaffYou can make any tweaks to the translations that you like in GlotPress, by using the link above. You might want to scan through all of the theme’s strings in GlotPress and see if there are other phrases or words you think should be tweaked in any way. Then let me know when you’re done and I can ask for a verification by a validator and deployment. Merci!
Thanks a lot, I did the translation with Read more. I’ll do it with other phrases later because I am very busy during the summer :-)
Thanks a lot for your help, I appreciate a lot.

StaffWe’ve deployed your change and it now reads “Lire la suite.” If you make more changes later this summer just let me know. Enjoy!
Thanks you so much for your help!
Have a great summer :-)
