Hi, I’d like to remove the left sidebar from posts and expand the page to full width. I understand I need to edit the index.php file but can you help me with the codes I need to enter and where exactly in the file? Thanks.

I’m afraid I don’t offer support for customizing themes in this way – however if you want to hire a designer to customize it for you then you’re more than welcome to.
Alternatively I would be willing to give you some css that would be able to do the same thing in this instance.
