How to Remove First, Second, Third Footer completely from bottom of page

  I cannot figure out how to completely remove the footers at the bottom of this theme. They show up under the Sidebar in the Widgets area, but I do not see how to remove them. Thoughts?

  Hi there!

  To remove the footer widgets, follow these steps:

  1. Goto Appearance → Theme Options
  2. Click Layout
  3. In the Show the widgets footer dropdown, choose “Nowhere”
  4. Click Save Changes

  That should remove those widgets for good!

  Thanks much for the reply, but after following these steps, the three footers are still at the bottom of the page. They seem to be permanently wired in! Any other thoughts about how to remove them?

  Hi there!

  That’s odd; maybe the option didn’t save. When you view your Layout options, what do you see in the Show the widgets footer drop-down? Does it say Nowhere?

  You are absolutely correct, it did not save. I thought I had saved it…but when I went back in, it still indicated Everywhere. Thanks so much…this did the trick! Cheers
