How to hide title "home" in react

  1. Hello,
    How do I hide my title "main" on my home page? I cannot find any option to remove this.
    thank you,

    The blog I need help with is drfinearts.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi there!

    Are you referring the the title "current" on your homepage? If so, there is unfortunately no option to hide that title :( You can hide it with CSS if you have the Custom Design upgrade.

  3. Hi there,
    Yes, I have the custom design upgrade but are there any hints that someone can do if they are not a programmer?
    thanks!

  4. Hi again!

    I can definitely help out! I was holding back the solution until I knew you had the Custom Design upgrade. The following should take care of it:

    #page-53 .page-title {
        display: none;
    }
  5. That's awesome but I'm a total dork and don't understand as I'm a complete newbie and have taught myself how to do this.
    here is my site:
    denarigbyfinearts.com

    If it isn't a massive waste of your time, can you explain further. . .

    thanks!

  6. Hi there!

    No worries at all! Let me see if I can guide you through this.

    1. Go to Appearance → Custom Design
    2. Copy and paste the above code into the editor
    3. Click Save Stylesheet

    Let me know if that works!

  7. Hi - I have the same question/request. Does the code you offer above work for any "home" page, or is the page-53 very specific to the above member's site? I have the custom upgrade as well, and would like the ability to not display the title of the page.

    Also, how is the title of the page able to be different than the name of the link to that page in the React home page (http://reactdemo.wordpress.com)?

    Thanks!

  8. Please disregard my question above - I found the answer in another post in this forum - thank you!

  9. Glad to hear it! I'm going to close this topic up :-)
