How to get grid layout?
Lovely theme. I’m testing it on a private blog. I’d like to transfer the theme to my main blog when I’ve figured it all out. But how do I get the grid layout? Your theme support page says “Don’t forget that page templates made for content (Blog, Magazine, and Grid) support homepage widgets . . . ” But when I go to the page attributes, there is no grid. Am I missing something obvious? Also, when I look at your demo, there’s a grid. But I can’t make the theme produce the grid layout. Please help. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: canadianartjunkieblog.wordpress.com
To get Grid select “Masonry” template for page in question. If you’ll set this page to be front page, all the homepage widgets will be visible at the top too.
Ah, that’s it. Thank you very much. I love this theme. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I’ve moved it onto my main blog http://canadianartjunkie.com and the responsiveness – and the design – are amazing. Congrats.
Hi jaw501, I love your blog! I’d like to know how you managed to arrange the big slider in order to advance automatically.
Thanks from Spain!
Hi demesa – Thanks! I just switched over to this theme on the weekend. So the widget for the big slider has three adjustments you can make when you activate it. One says Autorotation in seconds. If you leave it at zero, it doesn’t move. If you add the number of seconds, it automatically switches images. I entered 4, meaning it changes images every four seconds. The other two adjustments are: How many items go in the slider (mine is 5) and whether the slider is huge -100% across the top of the page. I’ve gone back and forth between ticking off huge and leaving it un-ticked – or smaller – as it is at the moment. I like both options and I can’t decide which one to leave it at. Great theme, one of the best I’ve tried.
Thanks for your response! I’ve been having some fun with this great theme. Your site has been an inspiration. Best regards!!!
